RMI Supply Chain Due Diligence Module Plus Training for Facilities

We're excited to share the RMI Supply Chain Due Diligence Module Plus Training for Facilities being held online in various time zones. Pre-registration is required.

 

What You Will Learn:

Join us for The RMI Supply Chain Due Diligence Module Plus (SCDDP), a 90-minute session where you’ll learn key aspects of supply chain due diligence, starting with introductions and objectives, followed by an overview of the Supply Chain Due Diligence Module Plus and its relationship to the other RMI Standards like the All Minerals Standard, associated mineral-specific standards, and Downstream Assessment Program Criteria. The training will also cover how assessments under SCDDP will be managed, including RMAP+ and DAP+ along with the scope and applicability with a focus on risk assessment, prioritization, and management through a Prevention, Mitigation, and Remediation approaches. Lastly the training will include grievance and remedy processes, an interactive questions and answers segment and then concluding with final thoughts and next steps.

This training is tailored for facilities undergoing assessments within the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) framework, including:

  • Smelters, refiners, and processors in mineral supply chains
  • Sustainability and compliance managers
  • Operational leads responsible for ESG integration

Participation is critical for those preparing for RMI ESG assessments to ensure alignment with industry standards, enhance ESG performance, and meet stakeholder expectations in responsible mineral sourcing.

In-Person Training

The RMI holds in-person training for smelters and refiners and for assessors multiple times a year in multiple geographies. The RMI Members are welcome to attend RMI in-person training

These are half-day or one to two full-day sessions providing in-depth training on the RMI standards for assessors and assessees. RMI has held in-person trainings in China, EU, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, UAE, UK and USA, and we are always looking to expand in-person training to more geographies. 

 

Webinars

These are 1-hour to 4-hour live webinars presented in English and Chinese. Recordings are available on the free RMI e-Learning Academy. Each webinar focuses on specific requirements of the revised standard and provides guidance for smelters and assessors on how to translate the revised requirements into practice.

Featured topics include a variety of topics, for example: identifying CAHRAs; OECD 5-step process; risk identification systems; AML and sanction lists expectations and best practices, and Know Your Counterparty processes.
